I am delighted to present to you my new course book for beginners. The Russian Express Course is designed for students who would like to pick up basic phrases, vocabulary, grammar, and communicative models within a short period of time, under the guidance of the teacher.

The book is an ideal course for both: very busy people, who can’t spare more than 3 hours per week for studying, and for those who would like to start speaking in 4 weeks. Despite that, you still will be successful in learning material by rehearsal and repetition in each lesson.

In 20 classes (60 minutes each), you will master half of the elementary level (A1). It includes:

  • alphabet and pronunciation;
  • greetings;
  • office supplies;
  • professions and occupations;
  • family and friends;
  • everyday routine;
  • food and dishes;
  • leisure activities;
  • past events.

You will be able to keep up the conversation about all those topics on a basic level, ask proper questions and give simple but correct answers. Moreover, you will learn elementary Russian grammar through the communicative models and real-life dialogues. Here you are some grammar topics:

  • Noun gender.
  • Plural nouns.
  • Present and Past tenses.
  • Nominative, Accusative, Genitive and Prepositional cases.

The Russian Express Course consists of two parts: the main one with vocabulary, theory, texts, grammar and exercises and the extra one with various dialogues, pictures for speaking, crosswords, games and questionnaires. In the end there is a final test. All listening exercises you can find on Youtube following the qr-codes.

There will be the second part of my Russian textbook for A1.2 level where you will learn how to make an order at a restaurant, describe dwelling, buy clothes and shoes, etc. Besides, I have already written a book with only game tasks with the help of which my students learn new vocabulary while having fun.
