In our earlier post, we have already looked into the parts of the body. Now, it’s time to know more about our head and its parts.

Let’s look at some common word collocations with these parts as not all adjectives are suitable to use. For example, we all know how to say brown in Russian. But!!! with eyes or hair we don’t use the word коричневый.
Ok, here we go. Глаза (eyes):
| Карие | Brown |
| Зелёные | Green |
| Бледно-голубые | Pale blue |
| Серые | Grey |
| Грустные | Sad |
| Равнодушные | Apathetic |
| Озорные | Mischievous |
The literal translation of карие is hazel, maybe because the colour really resembles that type of nut.

| Сейчас в основном у неё седые волосы, но в молодости она была жгучей брюнеткой. | Now she has grey hair mostly but in her youth she was a burning brunette. |
